Thong Kee Cafe 溏记海南茶室 @ Sea Park

Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! Are you a person that would crawl out of bed early just for breakfast? Well, I'm certainly not, but I miraculously just did that on last weekend. I woke up on a beautiful Saturday morning and travelled 20km from my house just for a hearty breakfast at Thong Kee Cafe, Sea Park. I came across this local Hainanese cafe on Instagram a few weeks ago, what really attracted me was mainly the buttery flaky looking croissant. Yum yum!

This is it!

3 in 1 Croissant 三合一牛角包 (RM7.90)

RM7.90 for a pastry in a local Hainanese cafe seems relatively expensive. Like, you could have got a large plate of Char Kuey Teow or Seafood Noodle or something even better with that price. But the croissant here actually worth a try because of the buttery flaky crust it had. Plus, it's pretty filling as well, just nice for breakfast. :) You can also get other breakfast choices like 3-in-1 whole wheat bread, kaya & butter croissant, kaya & butter toast and so on.

Breakfast 6 (RM8)
Or, you may treat yourself a breakfast like this. There were 3 choices of western breakfast, labelled with number 5, 6 and 7. They were almost the same, the only difference was the portion. If you wish to have some hot food for breakfast, you may also order curry mee, wanton mee, nasi lemak or chicken rice from the food stalls available in Thong Kee Cafe.

Lemon Assam and Cham peng
Oh, and don't forget to try out their Cham peng and Lemon Assam when you're here. The Cham peng is the best!

Thong Kee Cafe Business Hour: Tues-Sun 7AM - 4.30PM
Closed on Monday.

That's all for today! See you in my next post. Cheers!
